We built FYNDLY so meeting someone new feels as safe as it is fun. Here's how we protect our community.
Profile verification
- Every Friend completes a government ID check and live selfie match before their listing goes live.
- Verified accounts show a blue checkmark. Customers can verify too.
Community guidelines
- Be respectful, punctual and kind. Treat others as you'd want to be treated.
- Keep all payments and communication on FYNDLY.
- All members must be 18 or over.
Meeting safely
- First bookings take place in public places such as cafés, venues or parks.
- Share your booking details with a friend. Live location sharing is off by default and only turns on if you give consent in Settings.
- Trust your instincts — you can end any meet-up at any time.
Reporting & blocking
- Report or block anyone from their profile or chat with one tap.
- Our safety team reviews every report within 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- In an emergency, always call 999 first.
Cancellation policy
- Customers: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time. Within 24 hours, 50% is refunded. No-shows are not refunded.
- Friends: cancellations within 24 hours affect your ranking; repeated late cancellations may lead to suspension.
- If a Friend cancels or doesn't show, you receive a full refund automatically.
Secure payments
- Payments are held securely and only released to the Friend after the booking is completed.
- Disputes can be raised up to 48 hours after a booking.
